WEEKLY REPORT (23 to 30 Oct 2017 )
It’s that time of the year when the racing is just about over, and the few races that are left to run, are quite a distance from home. With my schedule of events drying up, so will my reports until things get busier.
I had a Family Doctors appointment on Wednesday 25 Oct , followed by two days of I.V.I.G transfusions in the Cornwall Hospital on Thursday and Friday. I was feeling a bit weak after that, and didn’t feel like doing much.
At the weekend the big race for the Dirt Sportsman cars was taking place at the Charlotte Dirt Track , North Carolina which has become the lead-in to the forthcoming DIRT TRACK WORLD FINALS for The SUPER DIRT SERIES, and World of Outlaw Sprint Cars and Late Models, that happen a week later,
A number of my local Sportsman Teams made the trip down there , but I preferred to follow their fortunes from afar via social Media.
The newly crowned DirtCar Sportsman Championship winner, Dave Marcuccilli got the victory adding this one to his 2017 achievements.

The other big racing event over the weekend was the Mexican Grand Prix, where Lewis Hamilton clinched another World Championship.
Apart from this , that’s all I have to report this week
